Independent Film Project
Professional Production Unit
The Professional Production Unit, located in the School of Art, produces a number of television and DVD programs in association with the local community and the Weitzenhoffer Family College of Fine Arts. In addition to our OU productions, the PPU is also a full-service independent production unit which serves Oklahoma agencies in the production of commercials, promotional videos and documentaries. Our productions utilize the latest in digital video, AfterEffects and Final Cut Pro technology, and are crewed by experienced industry professionals as well as OU students, who gain learning opportunities on a real working set.
