.Symposia and Merkel Family Foundation Distinguished Lecture Series

Leading scholars in the field of western American Art participate in the Charles M. Russell Center's biennial national symposia and Merkel Family Foundation Distinguished Lecture Series held on alternating years. The audience for these popular programs includes faculty, staff, students and the general public.

Symposiums are typically held in the fall of the year and the lectures are scheduled during the fall and spring in the alternating years.
